Ryan Feierabend

pronounced "fee-ERR-a-bend"
(e.g. "Pontiac Feierabend… We build excitement!")

Feierabend earned temporary stints in the starting rotation in 2007 owing simply to the fact that he is left-handed. During the June 22 game he was booed by the home crowd for repeatedly attempting to pick-off a Cincinnati runner, thus delaying Ken Griffey Jr.'s first Safeco Field at-bat as a Red. Currently in the rotation in Seattle; has not pitched particularly well, but is still considered to be a solid candidate for a spot at the end of the rotation in 2009.
