Mike Morse
Mike Morse debuted with the Mariners as a shortstop in 2005. He lasted for some time thanks to a well-timed hot streak, but when his bat cooled people realized he wasn't much of a hitter and even less of a shortstop outfielder. In 2008 he played in a handful of games before ruining his shoulder diving for a ball in right field.
Of course, the only reason he had to dive for the ball is because he got a bad read/jump on it.
