In the 2005/2006 offseason, the Mariners signed Carl Everett. Everyone enjoyed his insane behavior. It was entertaining, but unfortunately he wasn't a good hitter. In the 2006/2007 offseason, the Mariners found another baseball player known for his temper. Lucky for us, this one can hit.
At the start of the 2007 campaign he became the first regular RF other than Ichiro since 2001. Many worried about his arm because of his recent surgery, but he has since proved that he has a cannon.
Guillen is most noted for his hate of all things Angels. This makes him a favorite of Lookout Landing. Many people believe that if he was always playing against the Angels he would become one of the greatest hitters of all time. However, it must be noted that he would probably get arrested very early on, as he is always on the edge of stabbing Mike Scioscia.
Turns out Jose Guillen sucks against the Angels and took steroids at some point in the past. Oh well. For some reason that no one with half a fucking brain can wrap their minds around, was not offered arbitration after the 2007 season. Signed with Kansas City and sucks again.
